Mi esposo a veces me pregunta por qué pasan cosas malas en la vida a gente buena, y ésto me ayudó contestarle.
Se levantó rápidamente en cuanto vio al cirujano salir de la sala de operaciones.
Ella dijo: ¿Cómo está mí pequeño hijo? ¿Va a estar bien? ¿Cuándo puedo verlo?
El cirujano respondió, “Lo siento. Hicimos todo lo que pudimos, pero su hijo no logró Sobrevivir”
Sally dijo: “¿Por qué les da cáncer a los niños pequeños?” ¿Que ya no le importa a Dios? ¿En dónde estabas Dios, cuando mi hijo te necesitaba?
El cirujano preguntó:
¿Desea un tiempo a solas con su hijo? “Una de las enfermeras saldrá en unos minutos antes de ser transportado a la Universidad.”
Sally le pidió a la enfermera que la acompañara mientras se despedía de su hijo. Corrió sus dedos suavemente con amor a través de su rizado pelo rojizo.

“Querida mamá, Yo sé que vas a extrañarme, pero no pienses que me olvidaré de ti o que algún día dejaré de quererte solo porque no estoy para decirte que “Te amo” siempre te amaré mamá, y cada día será más. Algún día volveremos a vernos. Hasta entonces, si quieres adoptar un niño para que no te sientas tan sola por mí este bien. Puede usar mi cuarto y mis cosas para jugar con ellas. Pero si decides que sea una niña, probablemente no le gusten las cosas que nos gustan a los niños. Tendrás que comprarle muñecas y cosas que le gustan a las niñas, tú sabes.
No estés triste mamá pensando en mí. Este es un lugar muy lindo. La abuela y el abuelo me recibieron en cuanto llegué aquí y me mostraron algunos sitios, pero tomará mucho tiempo conocer todo esto. Los ángeles son lindos. Me encanta verlos volar. ¿Y sabes que? Jesucristo no se parece nada a ninguna de sus fotografías. Pero en cuanto lo vi., sabía que era El Jesús mismo me llevó a ver a Dios. Mamá, y ¡adivina que! Me tocó sentarme en su pierna y hablar con Él, como si fuera alguien importante.
Ahí fue cuando le dije que quería escribirte una carta para despedirme y todo eso. Pero yo ya sabía que no estaba permitido, Pero ¿sabes que mamá? Dios me dio papel y hasta me prestó su pluma personal para escribirte esta carta. Creo que se llama Gabriel el ángel que te va a dejar la carta.
Dios me dijo que te diera la respuesta a una de las preguntas que le hiciste, ¿En donde estaba Él cuando yo lo necesitaba?
“Dios dice que estaba conmigo así como cuando estaba con Jesús cuando murió en la cruz. Ahí está El, como siempre lo está con todos sus hijos, oh, por cierto, mamá, nadie más puede leer lo que te escribí en esta carta, solo tú. Para todos los demás esto es solo un papel en blanco, ¿Qué padre no?
Ya tengo que regresarle su pluma a Dios, la necesita para escribir más nombres en el Libro de la Vida.
Esta noche me toca estar en la mesa compartiendo la cena con Jesús, seguro que la comida será de lo mejor. Ya casi se me olvidaba decirte, que ya no me duele nada mamá, ya se me quitó el cáncer completamente, estoy muy contento porque no soportaba más el dolor y a Dios no le gustaba verme sufrir así tampoco, por eso mandó al Ángel de la Misericordia para que fuera por mí. ¡El ángel me dijo que era un pedido especial! ¿Qué te parece éso?”

Déjame el cuidado de todas tus cosas y todo te ira mejor. Cuando te abandones a mí, todo se resolverá con tranquilidad según mis designios. No te desesperes, no me dirijas una oración agitada, como si quisieras exigirme el cumplimiento de tus deseos. Cierra los ojos del alma y dime con calma. Jesús yo en ti Confió… Si Señor en ti Confió…
Evita las preocupaciones y angustias y los pensamientos sobre lo que pueda suceder después. No estropees mis planes, queriéndome imponer tus ideas. Déjame ser Dios y actuar con Libertad. Abandónate confiadamente en mí. Reposa en mí y deja en mis manos tu futuro. Dime frecuentemente: Jesús yo en ti confió. Lo que más daño te hace es tu razonamiento y tus propias ideas y querer resolver las cosas tu manera. Cuando me dices: Jesús, yo en ti confió, no seas como el paciente que le pide al medico que lo cure, pero le sugiere el modo de hacerlo. Déjate llevar en mis brazos divinos, no tengas miedo, yo te amo.
Si crees que las cosas empeoran o se complican a pesar de tu oración sigue confiando. Cierra los ojos del alma y confía.
Continúa diciéndote a toda hora: Jesús confió en ti.
Necesito las manos libres para poder obrar. No me ates con tus preocupaciones inútiles, Satanás quiere eso: agitarte, angustiarte, quitarte paz. Confía solo en mí, abandónate en mí.
