“Gracias” es una de esas maravillosas palabras que siempre la guardamos para nosotros. Muchas veces cuando las personas hacen algo por una damos por hecho que ya agradecimos lo que han hecho por nosotros, pero no es así, es importante dar las gracias por cada gesto de bondad que recibimos.
Debemos estar agradecidos cuando alguien nos llama por teléfono para preguntarnos cómo estamos. ¿Quién obliga a una persona llamar a otra? Nadie, solo lo hacen porque nos quieren y nos aprecian.
No seamos personas ingratas y sepamos dar las gracias a cualquier persona que haga algo por nosotros. Un ejemplo muy claro es que cuando vamos a un salón a tomar un té pagamos la cuenta, rara vez dando las gracias a quien nos estuvo atendiendo lo mejor que pudo.
Yo siempre agradezco, hasta a la persona que trabaja en el supermercado y nos muestra el producto, es un gesto amable y hay que agradecer. Cuando nos despertamos y abrimos los ojos ¿damos las gracias a Dios por el solo hecho de respirar? Bueno, eso que cada cual lo responda en su interior.

Debemos dar las gracias a los amigos que hemos conocido por Internet, que muchas veces son mejores amigos que los que tenemos a nuestro lado, siempre ofreciéndonos su apoyo.
Cuando vas por la calle, alguien te reconoce, y se acerca para hablar contigo; da las gracias por el hecho de que te hable y sea tu amigo.

Nunca des las cosas por sentadas, di con palabras lo que sientes, muchas veces por perezosas no llamamos a la casa o a nuestros amigos y cuando llamas ya es tarde pues esa persona ya no está y lo peor es que ya no volverá, como cuando alguien que amamos se va de este mundo y no pudimos hablarle.
Y después, a todas esas personas que hemos dejado de lado…

Ser agradecido es una cualidad que todos admiramos en el carácter de los demás, ¿verdad? Para ello no hay razones, ni excusas. Tampoco hay edades, nunca eres demasiado viejo como para intentar ser positivo y valorar todo lo maravilloso que tienes. Inténtalo. Verás que puedes empezar poco a poco a sentirte agradecido por las pequeñas cosas que te ocurren.
La gratitud no es una fórmula de cortesía, es un sentimiento y una actitud ante la vida.
Debemos estar agradecidos a las personas que nos hacen felices; son los encantadores jardineros que hacen florecer nuestra alma.
