El agua que quería ser fuego
Ya estoy cansada de ser fría y de correr río abajo. Dicen que soy necesaria. Pero yo preferiría ser hermosa. Y encender entusiasmos. Y hacer arder el corazón de los enamorados y ser roja y cálida.
Dicen que yo purifico lo que toco, pero más fuerza purificadora tiene el fuego. Quisiera ser fuego y llama.
Así pensaba el agua de un río de montaña. Y, cómo quería ser fuego, decidió escribir una carta a Dios y pedir que cambiara su identidad.
“Querido Dios: tú me hiciste agua, pero quiero decirte con todo respeto que me he cansado de ser transparente. Prefiero el color rojo para mí. Desearía ser fuego. – ¿Puede ser?.
Señor, tú mismo te identificaste con la zarza ardiente y dijiste que habías venido a poner fuego en la tierra. No recuerdo que nunca te compararas con el agua. Por eso, creo que comprenderás mi deseo. No es un simple capricho. Yo necesito este cambio para mi realización personal”.
El agua, salía todas las mañanas a su orilla para ver si llegaba la respuesta de Dios. Una tarde pasó una lancha muy blanca como la nieve y dejó caer al agua un sobre muy rojo.
El agua lo abrió y lo leyó:
“Querida hija: me apresuro a contestar tu carta. Parece que te has cansado de ser agua, yo lo siento mucho porque no eres un agua cualquiera. Tu abuela fue la que me bautizó en el Jordán, y yo te tenía destinada a caer sobre la cabeza de muchos niños. Tú preparas el camino del fuego. Mi Espíritu no baja a nadie que no haya sido lavado por ti. El agua es siempre primero que el fuego.”
Mientras el agua estaba embebida leyendo la carta, Dios bajó a su laso y la contempló en silencio. El agua se miró a sí misma y vio el rostro de Dios reflejado en ella.
Y Dios seguía sonriendo, esperando una respuesta.
Ella comprendió que el privilegio de reflejar el rostro de Dios, solo lo tiene el agua limpia.
Suspiró y dijo:“Sí Señor, seguiré siendo agua, seguiré siendo tu espejo. Gracias.”
MORALEJA: Aceptemos quien realmente somos. Cada uno de nosotros es único, peculiar y muy especial. ¡Amémonos!
– Muchas veces no estamos conformes con lo que somos y anhelamos ser como otros pensando que no somos capaces de lograr lo que estos otros han logrado. Nos olvidamos que Dios nos ha dado la capacidad para transformar al mundo que nos rodea. Solo necesitamos ponernos en Sus manos y estar dispuestos a que Dios haga la obra a través de nosotros.
Aceptemos lo que somos
En esta vida hay muchísimos ejemplos de personas que lograron transformar vidas siendo lo que eran. Personas que lo “poco” que eran ante los ojos de los demás y quizás ante los suyos, se convirtió en un tesoro inigualable en las manos de Dios.
Este texto nos explica lo injusto que podemos ser al no valorar lo que tenemos y querer ser siempre ser ” el otro”lo primero que debemos evitar son las comparaciones y si lo hacemos que sea con personas que tengan metas a nuestro alcance si no solo alcanzaremos frustación
Dedícate a conocerte mejor, siempre tenemos tiempo para pararnos a reflexionar que somos y que queremos y para donde vamos, analiza todo estas preguntas y verás como tu mente y corazón te dará respuestas que te sorprenderán
Piensa siempre en positivo no resaltes lo negativo que habita en ti, todos tenemos defectos y virtudes pero somos lo que pensamos y nuestro carácter se forja de ese pensamiento.
Siempre tenderemos a estar insatisfechos porque es una regla motivaciones básica: Motivarse es moverse y para moverse hay que tener cierto desequilibrio y cierta inquietud.
La capacidad está en ti, no hay excusa que valga: solo tienes que salir ahí fuera y demostrarte que tú estás aquí para ser feliz.
La envidia no es la admiración que sentimos hacia algunas personas, ni la codicia por los bienes ajenos, ni el desear tener las dotes o cualidades de otro. Es otra cosa.
La envidia es entristecerse por el bien ajeno. Es quizá uno de los vicios más estériles y que más cuesta comprender y, al tiempo, también probablemente de los más extendidos, aunque nadie presuma de ello (de otros vicios sí que presumen muchos).
La envidia va destruyendo —como una carcoma— al envidioso. No le deja ser feliz, no le deja disfrutar de casi nada, pensando en ese otro que quizá disfrute más. Y el pobre envidioso sufre mientras se ahoga en el entristecimiento más inútil y el más amargo: el provocado por la felicidad ajena.
