UN NUDO EN LA SÁBANA
En la reunión de padres de familia de una escuela, la directora resaltaba el apoyo que los padres deben darle a los hijos.
Ella entendía que aunque la mayoría de los padres de la comunidad eran trabajadores, debían encontrar un poco de tiempo para dedicar y pasar con los niños.
Sin embargo, la directora se sorprendió cuando uno de los padres se levantó y explicó, que él no tenía tiempo de hablar con su hijo durante la semana.
Cuando salía para trabajar era muy temprano y su hijo todavía estaba durmiendo y cuando regresaba del trabajo era muy tarde y el niño ya estaba acostado.
Explicó además, que tenía que trabajar de esa forma para proveer el sustento de la familia.
Dijo también que el no tener tiempo para su hijo lo angustiaba mucho e intentaba reemplazar esa falta dándole un beso todas las noches cuando llegaba a su casa y para que su hijo supiera que él le había ido a ver mientras dormía, hacía un nudo en la punta de la sábana.
Cuando mi hijo despierta y ve el nudo, sabe que su papá ha estado allí y lo ha besado. El nudo es el medio de comunicación entre nosotros.
La directora se emocionó con aquella singular historia y se sorprendió aún más cuando comprobó que el hijo de aquel hombre era uno de los mejores alumnos de la escuela.
Este hecho nos hace reflexionar sobre las muchas formas en que las personas pueden hacerse presentes y comunicarse con otros.
Aquél padre encontró su forma, una forma simple pero eficiente. Y lo más importante es que su hijo percibía a través del nudo, todo el afecto de su papá.
Algunas veces nos preocupamos tanto con la forma de decir las cosas que olvidamos lo principal que es la comunicación a través del sentimiento.
Simples detalles como un beso y un nudo en la punta de una sábana, significaban para aquél hijo, muchísimo más que un montón de regalos o disculpas vacías.
Es válido que nos preocupemos por las personas, pero lo más importante es que ellas sepan y puedan sentir nuestra preocupación y cariño por ellas.
Para que exista la comunicación, es necesario que las personas “escuchen” el lenguaje de nuestro corazón, ya que los sentimientos siempre hablan más alto que las palabras.
Es por ese motivo que un beso, revestido del más puro afecto, cura el dolor de cabeza, el golpe de la rodilla o el miedo a la oscuridad.
Las personas tal vez no entiendan el significado de muchas palabras, pero saben distinguir un gesto de afecto y amor, aunque ese gesto sea solamente un nudo en la sábana. Un nudo cargado de afecto, ternura y amor.
“Vive de tal manera que cuando tus hijos piensen en justicia, cariño, amor e integridad, piensen en ti”
La vida te devuelve lo que siembras
De repente hijo y su padre estaban caminando en las montañas.ente, el hijo se lastima y grita: “Aaaahhhhhhh!!”. Para su sorpresa, escucha una voz que repite en algún lugar de la montaña: “Aaaahhhhhhh!!”.
Con curiosidad el niño grita: “¿Quién está ahí?”.
Recibe una respuesta: “¿Quién está ahí?”.
Enojado con la respuesta, el niño grita: “Cobarde”.
Y recibe de respuesta: “Cobarde”.
El niño mira a su padre y le pregunta: “¿Qué sucede?”
El padre, sonríe y le dice: “Hijo mío, presta atención”.
Y entonces el padre grita a la montaña: “Te admiro”.
Y la voz le responde: “Te admiro”.
De nuevo, el hombre grita: “Eres un campeón”.
Y la voz le responde: “Eres un campeón”. El niño estaba asombrado, pero no entendía.
Luego, el padre le explica: La gente lo llama eco, pero en realidad es la vida.
Te devuelve todo lo que dices o haces. Nuestra vida es simplemente un reflejo de nuestras acciones.
Si deseas más amor en el mundo, crea más amor a tu alrededor. Si deseas felicidad, da felicidad a los que te rodean.
Si quieres una sonrisa en el alma, da una sonrisa al alma de los que conoces.
Esta relación se aplica a todos los aspectos de la vida.
La vida te dará de regreso, exactamente aquello que tú le has dado. Tu vida, no es una coincidencia, es un reflejo de ti.
Alguien dijo: “Si no te gusta lo que recibes de vuelta, revisa muy bien lo que estás dando”.
Nadie es perfecto en la vida, pero siempre intentemos ser mejores cada día.
Consejos de un padre a su hijo
Observa el amanecer por lo menos una vez al año.
Estrecha la mano con firmeza, y mira a la gente de frente a los ojos.
Ten un buen equipo de música.
Elige a un socio de la misma manera que elegirías a un compañero de tenis: busca que sea fuerte donde tú eres débil y viceversa.
Desconfía de los fanfarrones: nadie alardea de lo que le sobra.
Recuerda los cumpleaños de la gente que te importa.
Evita a las personas negativas; siempre tienen un problema para cada solución.
Conduce automóviles que no sean muy caros, pero date el gusto de tener una buena casa.
Nunca existe una segunda oportunidad para causar una buena primera impresión.
No hagas comentarios sobre el peso de una persona, ni le digas a alguien que está perdiendo el pelo. Ya lo sabe.
Recuerda que se logra más de las personas por medio del estímulo que del reproche (dile al débil que es fuerte y lo verás hacer fuerza).
Anímate a presentarte a alguien que te cae bien simplemente con una sonrisa y diciendo: Mi nombre es fulano de tal; todavía no nos han presentado.
Nunca amenaces si no estás dispuesto a cumplir.
Muestra respeto extra por las personas que hacen el trabajo más pesado.
Haz lo que sea correcto, sin importar lo que otros piensen.
Encomienda tus tareas y decisiones diariamente al Espíritu Santo.
Dale una mano a tu hijo cada vez que tengas la oportunidad. Llegará el momento en que ya no te dejará hacerlo.
Aprende a mirar a la gente desde sus sandalias y no desde las tuyas. Ubica tus pretensiones en el marco de tus posibilidades.
Recuerda el viejo proverbio: Sin deudas, sin peligro.
No hay nada más difícil que responder a las preguntas de los necios.
Aprende a compartir con los demás y descubre la alegría de ser útil a tu prójimo. (El que no vive para servir, no sirve para vivir).
Acude a tus compromisos a tiempo. La puntualidad es el respeto por el tiempo ajeno.

Aunque tengas una posición holgada, haz que tus hijos paguen parte de sus estudios.
